Stillia to open for Ocean Colour Scene on NZ tour

UK buzz act Stillia has been announced as the support act for Ocean Colour Scene's NZ tour this November. The band will play Wellington’s Opera House on November 19 and Auckland’s Powerstation on November 20 - following their five-date Australian tour.

Ocean Colour Scene are touring ahead of the release of their forthcoming album From Ground To Light. With BBC Radio 2 heralding the record “the best debut since The La’s”, this will be the band’s first trip to Australia and New Zealand, a true feast for fans of the new wave of brit-pop.

The Ocean Colour Scene story is already the stuff of legend; a rip-roaring rock’n’folk odyssey set to a backdrop of pop culture at its very best. One of the leading lights of the 90s britpop wave, with chart-topping albums like the iconic Moseley Shoals, they came up through the live scene with contemporaries including Oasis. Ocean Colour Scene remain one of the biggest acts of the time still on the road today.
