Sheppard share music video for 'Edge of the Night'
Sheppard are turning your office upside down this Friday afternoon with the release of their amazing new video for 'Edge of the Night'.
Recorded in just one take, the video is a triumph of choreography, humour and ultimately ticket-tape as Sheppard display the sharp wit, musical chops and killer melodies that have taken them to the top of the charts around the world.
Currently in the UK touring stadiums with Little Mix, the new single is a sonic departure for the band, combining authentic old-skool funk with their trademark pop sound to create a 2017 party anthem. "Edge of the Night isn't your typical Sheppard track," said George Sheppard. "It's a tongue in cheek funk pop throwback to 90's house parties and 70's grooves. It's an opportunity for us to let our hair down and try something completely different."
'Edge of the Night' comes off the back of the band's return to Australian radio with 'Keep Me Crazy' which set radios alight across their home country, hitting the iTunes and radio airplay top 20s, giving the band their first ARIA hit from their forthcoming album and prompting TV appearances with the likes of Have You Been Paying Attention, Today and Toasted TV.
A global priority for their international label Decca/Republic/Universal Records, 'Edge of the Night' is currently being toured across the UK and Europe before Sheppard jump across for a promo tour of North America and Latin America. The band's sophomore album ins slated for an Australasian release in late 2017 when the band will return home for more shows.
